CAPSTONE General and Flag Officer Course
The CAPSTONE General and Flag Officer Course is designed for General and Flag Officers and managed by the National Defense University. Members of the Senior Executive Service (SES) are offered opportunities to participate when slots are available. The course objective is to make the attendees more effective in planning and employing U.S. forces in joint and combined operations. The CAPSTONE curriculum examines major issues affecting national security decision making, military strategy, joint/combined doctrine, interoperability, and key allied nation issues. SES members must be nominated to participate.
