DOW MentorConnect (Now launching in phases!)
Introducing DOW MentorConnect, the Department of War's premier mentoring matching tool, designed to connect all DOW employees with meaningful mentoring opportunities. This innovative platform brings together individuals from across the DOW, fostering a culture of growth, development, and collaboration. With DOW MentorConnect, you can easily find and connect with mentors who share your interests, career goals, and experiences, or become a mentor yourself and pay it forward. Whether you're looking to navigate your career, develop new skills, or simply gain valuable insights and advice, DOW MentorConnect provides a seamless and accessible way to tap into the collective knowledge and expertise of the DOW community. By leveraging this powerful tool, you can take your career to the next level, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the success of the DOW's mission.
As of July 2025, the launch of DOW MentorConnect has been delayed to accommodate critical updates to ensure accessibility and improve the user experience. To avoid further delays, we are proceeding with a multi-phase rollout based on user affiliation:
- Phase 1 (2025): Access available to users with a .mil email address.
- Phase 2 (2026): Expanded access for DOW users with a .edu email address.
- Phase 3 (TBD): Full access for remaining DOW-affiliated email addresses. Please note, this phase requires additional approvals. Deployment will depend on when those approvals are granted, how quickly the system changes can be implemented, and the outcomes of pilot testing. In the interim, we will offer a workaround to affected users. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward full implementation.
