The Defense Civilian Human Resources Management System is a cloud-based human resources personnel system that delivers a single employee database for the DOD. DCHRMS enhances the user’s ability to execute a wide range of human resources functions. The benefits of DCHRMS include:

DCHRMS encompasses Performance Management to support the Defense Civilian Intelligence Performance System and the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program. Users navigate within one system to execute core HR and performance management processes. DCHRMS automated performance management solution includes a dashboard for managers, links to employee within-grade increases, and past performance awards. DCHRMS is not a replica of DCPDS, and users will notice differences in functionality between DCPDS and DCHRMS. However, the goal is to ensure DCHRMS enhances the user's ability to execute a wide range of human resources functions.
