Deployment Opportunities
DoD has relied on its civilian workforce to deploy in support of expeditionary requirements for as long as contingency operations have existed. DoD civilians are a critical part of the Total Force and essential to ensuring the readiness, capability, capacity, and lethality of our military forces. From 2001 to present, DoD civilians have provided significant support to military forces in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations throughout the world.

Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce Positions

Ministry of Defense Advisors (MoDA) Available Positions
The MoDA Program is designed to forge long-term relationships that strengthen a partner country's defense or interior ministry. The program matches senior Department of Defense (DoD) civilians with ministry counterparts in similar functional areas.
